Install SkyCut
Download the Mac release, open the disk image and move SkyCut to Applications. You need an Apple silicon Mac and macOS 15 or later.

Bring in your footage
Create a project and import your clips. Arrange video, sound and subtitles on the timeline.
Connect your AI
In a build with Sky Studio settings, create a Key at Sky Studio and add it in SkyCut. Open Settings → Connect AI and choose Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex. AI access depends on your entitlement.
Review and export
Play it back, refine the details and export. The export panel tells you if a watermark applies. Cloud generation is billed separately in Sky Studio credits.
Supported AI clients
Claude Desktop, Claude Code and Codex have built-in setup. Other clients need local stdio MCP support. A regular ChatGPT web chat cannot connect directly to the local SkyCut MCP server.
